Public traffic

VBZ tram line 2 or Limmattalbahn to the Wagonsfabrik stop. Then a short walk along Wagistrasse. From Schlieren train station, walk along the tracks about 10 minutes.


By car

Paid parking spaces are available in the WAGI Shopping car park. Check parking garage opening hours here. Managed parking spaces are available on Wagistrasse at weekends.

Coaches & Buses

Two parking spaces for Coaches opposite the museum are available upon prior registration.
Shoolclasses
We offer guided tours of our permanent exhibition and collection for school classes from primary level onwards, teachers as well as university and college groups.

Registration 4 weeks before the desired visit is 
mandatory.  School classes in the city of 
Schlieren free of charge.

Accessability
Most of our museum building, exhibition and event rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Exceptions are the rail vehicles indoors and outdoors, as well as the exhibition on the upper floor. This is currently not served by an elevator.

There is a barrier-free toilet on the ground 
floor. There is a disabled parking space in the 
parking spaces at Wagistrasse 12.
